Bruce Spence (born September 17, 1945) is an Australian actor who portrayed the Gyro Captain in George Miller's 1981 film Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior and portrayed Jedediah in Miller's 1985 film Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome.

- Spence is one of several actors in the Mad Max series to play two separate and distinct characters, having played Gyro Captain and Jedediah. The others are Hugh Keays-Byrne (Toecutter in Mad Max and Immortan Joe in Mad Max: Fury Road), Josh Helman (Slit in Mad Max: Fury Road and Scrotus in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga), Max Fairchild (Benno in Mad Max and Broken Victim in Mad Max 2), Lachy Hulme (Immortan Joe and Rizzdale Pell in Furiosa), and Elsa Pataky (Vuvalini General and Mr. Norton in Furiosa.)
- Spence has also played a supporting character in the third and final installment of four separate, high-profile film trilogies: "Jedediah" in Beyond Thunderdome, "The Trainman" in The Matrix Revolutions, "The Mouth of Sauron" in the extended cut of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King, and "Tion Meddon" in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.
