Dinki-Di, or Dinki-Di Meat & Vegies, was a fictional brand of dog food that featured in Mad Max 2 and in the 2015 video game Mad Max.
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior[]
Max eats a can of Dinki-Di while overseeing the Compound attack by Lord Humungus' Marauders. After finishing it he throws a can to Dog which immediately starts eating the remains and also fending-off The Gyro Captain who is keen on getting his hands on the can. It is later revealed that Max carries a box full of Dinki-Di in his car.

In the video game, cans of Dinki-Di are used as a health replenishing source and are scattered all across the map. Chumbucket also refers to Max's dog as "Dinki-Di."
Trivia and Bloopers[]
- Dinki-Di, pronounced /ˈdɪŋkiˈdɑi/, is an Australian slang for "Genuine," "Authentically Australian," or "True." In the video game it is mispronounced as /ˈdɪŋkiˈdɪ/.[1]
- In Mad Max 2, during the Dinki-Di dinner scene, Max scopes out of the compound through a pair of binoculars set on a tripod. Somehow, he is able to follow a motorcycle as it jumps a ramp into the compound without taking his hands off of his fork and dog food.[2]
