Biography[]

She is the mother of Glory. While traveling in a trading convoy along with her daughter, the Buzzards attacked and although they were driven off by Gastown's guards, Glory was captured by them in the chaos and was taken to their hideout The Sunken City in order to be used as a Diggling due to her small frame being able to fit into places inaccessible for Buzzards to access in order to scavenge for loot.

While looking for someone to help find her daughter, she stumbles upon Max Rockatansky fighting in the Gastown Thunderdome in order to win a new Big Chief V8 Engine for his second Interceptor. When the two final contestants remain, one being Max and the other being a Buzzard Top Dog wearing heavy bladed armor, she helps him by giving him a flare that Max uses to burn the Buzzard's eye out. That night, Max is attacked by the Buzzards at his makeshift camp and falls unconscious due to the heavy bleeding caused by being stabbed in the femoral artery, they tie him up and leave him for dead, taking his Interceptor for themselves. Hope finds and rescues him and heals his wound, after Max asks her why she helped him, she tells him that he owes her a favor.

They travel together on her motorbike to The Sunken City and she tells Max about her kidnapped daughter. She offers to tag along so they can recover both Glory and Max's second Interceptor, Max refuses which angers her but he promises to bring Glory back. Max stumbles upon Glory who is initially hostile to him but he is able to gain her trust by informing her that he was sent to rescue her by Hope. He helps her to escape The Sunken City and the Buzzard who stabbed Max is presumed dead during their escape. After rescuing Glory from The Sunken City, Max returns along with her to Hope, who then offers him to come along with them. Max refuses any and all connection and drives off, but soon rushes back after seeing them in the side-mirror.

Glory thinks he changed his mind but Hope suspects something is awry. The reason is soon revealed as the Buzzard who earlier stabbed Max and was thought to have been killed is revealed to be alive. The Buzzard hits both Glory and Hope with his vehicle. After killing the Buzzard in a flash of blinding rage, Max finds Glory near death and her mother dead, Glory asks Max if her mother is all right, and Max lies saying she is fine. Glory wishes Max to look after her and he promises that he will as she dies. Max buries the two and drives off, he is severely traumatized by these events, seeing parallels with the loss of his own family. He spirals deeper into a feral state of madness, haunted by the visions of those he could not protect.
