Joy Smithers (born July 15, 1963) is an Australian actress who plays one of the Vuvalini of Many Mothers in Mad Max: Fury Road.
Biography[]
In 1979, when Smithers was only 15, she was offered the role of Jessie Rockatansky, Max Rockatansky's wife, in the original Mad Max. However, she was forced to turn down the role when her parents refused to let her travel to Adelaide for filming.
