'...Oh yeah, says who?'
Mudguts was known for being one of the most psychotic and uncontrollable members of Toecutter's motorcycle gang. He is seen spurting soft-drink in the face of a bystander, licking the face of a mannequin, spitting at May Swaisey, climbing several buildings childishly, embracing unwilling strangers, and being a general lunatic. It seems he has close relationship with Cundalini, and is seen dancing with and groping him on occasion. However, the extent to which their relationship is platonic could certainly be questioned, considering that at least one of the gang raped the unfortunate Lair.
His dark complexion is a sign that he very likely shares the Italian heritage of his affiliates, as indicated by the names of other members of Toecutter's gang. His boots resembled those of Goose's, indicating that they may have been stolen from the MFP's stock. Clearly unconcerned with fashion on any discernible level, and expressing his child-like humour through his appearance, Mudguts wears an improvised poncho or cape that seems to be made from a blanket. His white open-faced helmet sports novelty-store over-sized ears attached to the sides.
In the movie
At times it is shown that he could be quite calculating and task-oriented, especially when it comes to taking charge. For example, when Johnny the Boy was run off the road in the scene where Max was chasing down members of Toecutter's motorcycle gang, Mudguts urges his fellow bikers to keep riding and not stop for him.
Mudguts took part in one notable vehicular heist with his other gang members. In a calculative and stealthy operation, he managed to steal a large amount of petrol from a fuel tanker for Toecutter. His role in the theft was to vault onto the tanker and access its payload.
In the final chase between Max Rockatansky and Toecutter's gang, Mudguts is run off of the bridge into the water along with Clunk. His fate is left uncertain, though it is possible he survived.
