Name change[]
This article, like the Outback article, was one of the first articles here and titled from conjecture as I believed the location had no official name. However, once again, editors may well have proven me wrong. Several editors have contributed other names in their descriptions such as "the compound" (which the final script and film calls it), "the complex" and "the village".
The initial script for Mad Max 2 called for an oil refinery surrounded by an oil refinery, which may well have been why I titled it Oil Refinery. Personally, I think The Compound would now be a better name.
As admin I thought a poll would be the best way for the community to decide this article's future name.
