The Angel of Combustion was a Wasteland deity that represented the personification of vehicular explosions. It was part of the Cult of Combustion which was one of several newly developed vehicular-based religions that was emerging during the post-apocalyptic Australia (another similar ideology was the Cult of the V8).
Chumbucket was one adherent of this particular belief, and had prayed to the deity to deliver to him a 'Saint' who would help him build his visionary Magnum Opus.
